Chagos Bar: Where Heritage Meets Vibrant Flavou
Chagos Bar began as a heartfelt tribute by a woman from Mauritius to honor her late father’s legacy and his roots in the Chagos Islands. It quickly became known for its warm hospitality and authentic island-inspired dishes that celebrated the rich culture of Chagos.
In September 2024, a new chapter began when the restaurant welcomed a new owner from Jamaica, bringing a fresh Caribbean influence to the menu. The fusion of Chagossian and Jamaican flavors has made Chagos Bar a vibrant celebration of island cultures, offering bold, flavorful dishes that tell a story of connection, resilience, and joy.
Today, Chagos Bar is a unique destination where the food is as colorful and diverse as its story.
